What a fantastic afternoon at
Cardiff Arms Park for the annual
Cardiff Lions vs Cardiff Drag Queens
rugby match, raising an incredible
amount for Dreams & Wishes Charity!
It was an unforgettable afternoon
of rugby, fun and entertainment,
bringing the community together
in support of seriously ill
children and their families.
More than 4,000 tickets were sold,
with supporters enjoying an
incredible atmosphere throughout
the afternoon.
Most importantly, the event
raised over £20,000 for
Dreams & Wishes Charity,
helping us continue granting
wishes and creating special
memories for the children
and families we support.

CELEBRATING THE CARDIFF LIONS
Founded in 2004, Cardiff Lions
became Wales' first inclusive
rugby union football club.
The club prides itself on
welcoming players of all
skill levels and sexual
orientations, creating
an inclusive and supportive
rugby community.
Their annual match against
the Cardiff Drag Queens
has become a fantastic
celebration of community,
entertainment and charitable
fundraising.
A MESSAGE FROM MARY'S
Following the event,
Mary's shared a special
message on social media:
"We're truly overwhelmed
by the attendance for
Drag Rugby. It's by far
our biggest and best
year to date raising
an amazing amount for
Dreams & Wishes.
We have to thank so many
people...every single
drag queen who gave up
their free time to
participate. To all
the staff at Mary's
who helped with scanning
tickets, merchandise
and everything else
that needed to be done."
